8 things Kourtney K. should change
Kourtney Kardashian just launched her new supplement brand lemmelive.com. Here is a teardown of 8 things I would change on her home page to increase sales and CR:
What's the first thing you notice when you open the site? The announcement bar. It should be the image or the header to hook you.
Also, the photo doesn't help me understand the product. They should've used a lifestyle / in-action photo stating they're selling supplements.
Lemmelive uses a slider to show its products on the home page.
Never use sliders - ever. 80% of your visitors will only see the first slide.
Instead, show your products (or categories) in a grid. Lemme live could easily show the four products in a 2x2 grid.
They have a generic "catch-all" before they talk about the features/benefits of their products.
I would switch this with the features section below. Or just keep the quote.
"It's not about you. It's about what you can do for your customers."
(Maybe it works because it's her)
I like this feature section. But they don't mention any benefits.
Paint the picture for me— specifically. How does it help me that the ingredients are clinically studied? Or that it's premium botanicals? How am I saving the planet through your packaging?
The same here. Paint the picture for me— specifically.
How does it help me that you leave out these ingredients? How does it make my life better?
I would remove all social links (there are more a bit further down the site)
Maybe SoMe links are a good play with Kourtney behind the brand. But I would remove them to keep visitors on the site, where they can buy, instead of sending them to a SoMe designed to keep attention.
Finally, I think the overall visual hierarchy is confusing. I don't know where they want me to look— except for the announcement bar. It's hard to pinpoint, but I feel like everything blends.
What do you think? Anything I'm missing? Shoot me a reply— I'd love to discuss!
